We stopped in for happy hour, which was from 2 PM to 5 PM. They had an excellent deal on drinks five dollar beers and six dollar wines and a great selection of appetizers and snack food. We visited as a family of four with two children and ordered two drinks two sodas and two pretzel appetizers and spent about 34 total. The atmosphere is really nice! They have a few TVs, which were playing skate videos and other extreme sports which our kids really enjoyed. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm. Their outdoor space had multiple warm fire pits that were really nice to spend some time in front of while it was so cold out.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations and was an all around excellent dining experience! The tuna appetizer was incredible and the pizza is definitely worth a try - portion wise, the pizza was enough for 2 hungry people given that we also ordered an appetizer. Atmosphere, it has a nice & vibrant saloon vibe. They were playing sports when we were there. There is a patio with a fire pit as well. 10/10 for us!

Owen was amazing! Food was so good we came back a second time on our trip. Owen was attentive and even took the time to take photos of our family. We will be back and hope to be served by Owen again!

An Amazing Dining Experience! We had an incredible experience at The Blue Stag! Despite it being rush hour, the service was smooth, and our food arrived in a reasonable time. The dishes were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We will definitely be coming back next season and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

AMAZING food! Rocky Mountain oysters, ramen, bbq duck pizza, rattlesnake/buffalo/elk sausages, venison chili, and a bison burger were all phenomenal!!! It was 5 of us and we all ordered different dishes to split and literally everything was great. Vibe is good, the waiter was so nice and knowledgeable. We all went home raving about the food. With 4 cocktail/wine and all the food it was only 143. They could charge much more for this quality and authentic food. You have to go!

Blue Stag is cool joint with good food and a full bar. The Stag Salad with homemade ranch and the buffalo wings were awesome. Josh, the bartender, is amazing. There is a Red Ale on tap that is delicious and is his dad’s favorite!

Of course, I didn’t get many pictures—sometimes living in the moment is just better. We ended up visiting the same restaurant every single night during our stay in Breckenridge, and it was so worth it. The atmosphere was beautiful with such great vibes. Our friends raved about the food, and while we only had drinks the first two nights, we finally tried dinner on the third—and it did not disappoint. Every dish felt unique and full of flavor. Highly recommend checking out The Stack if you’re ever in Breck! We’ll definitely be back on our next snowboarding trip.
